Phases

  1. Oct 2024 — 2025

    Internal platforms at OpsIT

I joined OpsIT, the team that builds the internal control tools CX, Benefits and Refunds teams use across countries. My first year was about learning the company's in-house technologies and design systems, and adding new capabilities to those platforms.

    • About 15 major improvements to an internal library that builds UIs from JSON files, including new, highly customizable components.
    • A pseudo-language inside the JSON to format data (uppercase, dates, currency, text sanitization) and render based on context.
    • React
    • TypeScript
    • JSON

    • Interfaces written in JSON

    The new Refunds platform

In my second year, I built the new platform for the refunds process, working closely with the backend team and the teams that own the APIs. It was complex to build and turned out robust for the teams managing refunds across countries.

    • Creating and configuring refund flows.
    • Handling refunds that can't be processed automatically.
    • Tracking every batch and acting on its execution outcomes.
    • Templates for each payment processor (Visa, Mastercard…).
    • Today it processes millions of refunds efficiently.
    • React
    • TypeScript

    Benefits, automation and AI

Since launch, I keep adding capabilities to several internal platforms, now on the backend too, with AI as part of every task.

    • New modules for the Benefits platforms, which started as cashback platforms and which we migrated.
    • Go backend verticals for Refunds and n8n workflows.
    • Researching and shipping new features on internal platforms.
    • Over the last six months, nearly 90% of my work has been AI-assisted (Claude, Codex, Figma and v0), in line with the company's push.
    • Go
    • n8n
    • Python

    Projects from this phase

    • Benefits platforms (formerly cashback)

Frontend for the cashback platforms, with control and management modules integrated with several internal services, and their migration to Benefits, where I keep adding capabilities.
