One Christmas novena, eight brands
A mobile-first app for praying the novena, a Colombian Christmas prayer tradition, with each company's logo, colors and illustrations. It started as a template, and I rewrote it from Create React App to Vite.

The idea
Every December, Colombian families pray the novena, a Colombian Christmas prayer tradition held December 16–24. Many companies wanted to give that tradition to their customers and employees under their own brand, and have it work well on a phone.
The product
- Navigation through numbered steps and a day picker for each day’s reflection.
- Prayers, gozos (sung verses) and Christmas carols.
- Mobile-first: families use it together, phone in hand.
- White label: logo, background, illustrations, colors, title, favicon, social sharing image and custom blocks for each client, like the pizzeria’s menu or Thanks To You’s partner foundations.
How it evolved
The first version started as a template in Create React App and was adapted for several companies. When I was working in the Marketing department at Banco Caja Social, we built the bank’s own version, which I rewrote in Vite + React 18 with semantic Spanish routes and touches like a snow effect. It went from a custom build to a reusable product that now carries the names of 8 companies.
