Six years running Servientrega's web presence

The context

Servientrega is one of Colombia’s largest logistics groups. As webmaster and paid media specialist, I owned its web presence: the main portal and about 12 sites for group companies, foundations, partners and corporate brands. Many of them had no digital visibility at all when I started.

Two portal migrations

I led two migrations of the Servientrega portal, both with major visual overhauls:

• The first to modernize a site that had become outdated.
• The second for the group’s brand identity change.

On both, we migrated the content, built the components and handled the implementation, and I managed the vendor responsible for hosting and the IBM CMS.

“Ya Mismo”: outranking an everyday phrase

Ya Mismo is Servientrega’s express delivery service (the name also means “right away” in Spanish), so it’s also an everyday expression. Ranking it meant competing with dictionaries and the Royal Spanish Academy (RAE) itself. Through SEO, link building and site optimization, Servientrega now holds the top three organic Google results for that search and is the main source for its AI overview (search from Colombia, September 2026).

An ecosystem of 12 sites

• Visibility from zero for group foundations and companies, such as Fundación Mujeres de Éxito and Corporación Entrégate a Colombia, with a joint ranking strategy for the whole group.
• Vendor integrations, vulnerability and traffic analysis, and SEO for every site.
• Content director for their social media, experimenting with different formats.

Beyond code

I also led our work with agencies: content, video shooting and editing, paid social, programmatic advertising and content for backlinks.

The current versions of servientrega.com, ServientregaBox and Servitel were redesigned after my time there.
